DIY SNickers


Ingredients

  • 10 medjool dates

  • 1 cup dark and/or milk chocolate

  • 8 tsp crunchy peanut butter or soft peanut butter + peanuts

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • course sea salt or flaky salt

  • toothpicks


Directions

  1. Bring a saucepan of water to boil

  2. Place a large ceramic bowl in saucepan, should be too big to touch the bottom of saucepan

  3. Add chocolate and coconut oil to bowl

  4. Stir occasionally until melted

  5. Turn heat to medium-low until melted

  6. When melted, turn off heat and leave bowl in place

  7. Horizontally slice open dates and remove seeds

  8. Fill with crunchy peanut butter and close

  9. Add a toothpick to each date for dipping

  10. Dip in chocolate and set aside until cool

  11. Dip in chocolate x2

  12. Sprinkle course sea salt and let cool until chocolate hardens



Notes
  • You can use any sort of dates but medjool are best

  • These are AMAZING with white chocolate

  • The quality of chocolate makes all the difference but most times I just use chocolate chips lol
